Swell Software

Mission

Swell Software, Inc. provides customers with high quality software development tools that significantly reduce development time. Our complete solution includes embedded GUI development tools that work tightly with real-time operating systems, C/C++ compiler suites and reference platforms. Our highly trained on-line technical support makes the software ideal for worldwide markets.

Background

Swell Software, Inc. was founded in 1997 by a group of embedded-system software engineers that saw a need in the marketplace for a better GUI development tool. This vision lead to the creation of PEG and LinuxPEG. Our engineers have a broad range of experience working with real-time embedded systems and graphical interfaces. They found the GUI development tools that were on the market were inadequate and expensive. It was time to build a "better mousetrap" and sell it at a reasonable price, which lead to the creation of PEG in 1997, LinuxPEG in 2000 and C/PEG in 2004. We work closely with our strategic partners who make software and hardware products, when combined with PEG products, provides you with a total solution for real-time embedded-system development. We are located in Port Huron, MI (one hour northeast of Detroit) on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron.

Market

PEG products are used in a variety of embedded applications some of which include MP3 players, handheld GPS unit, wireless TV email system, HTML browser, flight simulator, in-car positioning data recorder, digital camera, audio mixer, engine control diagnostic station, patient vitals monitor, and workstation BIOS to name a few. Products containing embedded solutions are being used in more and more areas of everyday life throughout the world.
