Innovative new concepts change avionics‘ landscape IMA and PikeOS for Safety
Aerospace industry is still a technology leader. Regulations and economic aspects
have motivated airplane manufacturers to new pace. The IMA concept has been
developed to reduce the complexity of avionics devices in order to save costs of
production and maintenance of aircrafts. The PikeOS concept has been developed
in order to fulfill these requirements. The new approach might also be a solution
for other complex equipment systems that range in scale from automotive to
industrial automation.
