The HIVE Project

HIVE stands for Hypervisorbasierte Innovative VErfahren zur Anomalieerkennung mit Hardwareunterstützung.

HIVE is a 2.5 years German national research project that has started in May 2012. The project focuses on security and will investigate the area of tight integration of hardware security modules (HSM, TPM), virtualization of HSM, as well as anomaly detection in user applications.

The role of SYSGO within this project is to provide PikeOS, develop support of HSM on OS level and prototype support for anomaly detection support on OS level.

The project involves the following partners: Infineon AG, Technical University of Munich, Fraunhofer AISEC
