Automobil Elektronik Kongress

Forum am Schlosspark, Ludwigsburg

June 27 + 28

The Automobil Elektronik Kongress is an annual event that brings together leading experts, researchers, and professionals from the automotive industry to discuss the latest trends and developments in automotive electronics. The event is held in Ludwigsburg, a city located in the southwestern part of Germany and is organized by the publisher of the automotive electronics magazine "Automobil Elektronik".

One of the main reasons that make the Automobil Elektronik Kongress special is its focus on automotive electronics. The event covers a broad range of topics related to automotive electronics, such as driver assistance systems, vehicle networking, cybersecurity, autonomous driving, and many others. It provides a unique platform for participants to exchange ideas and insights, to learn about the latest technologies, and to network with other professionals in the field.

SYSGO is going to present its Secure Automotive Connectivity Platform (SACoP) is a fully integrated software framework developed by SYSGO for the automotive industry, addressing the challenges of connected cars by securing the administration and exchange of data. The platform is built on SYSGO's PikeOS RTOS and Hypervisor, which allows critical and non-critical infrastructure to operate simultaneously in one system. SACoP is pre-certified to Common Criteria EAL5+ and the ISO 26262 safety standard for the automotive industry.

The platform ensures information security through strict encapsulation and separation of communication channels, complemented by a secure boot process, an integrated intrusion detection system, and a firewall. It supports various communication protocols (3G/4G/5G), enabling applications such as over-the-air updates, Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communications, and connectivity to cloud backends or maintenance data uploads. Internally, the platform protects a Wi-Fi hotspot for passengers with its firewall, while the vehicle's internal network (Ethernet, CAN) is separated and can only be accessed via secure and monitored channels.

SACoP can be used as a secure gateway for automotive connectivity and is ready-to-use for all communication needs involved in transportation, including V2V, V2X, and car internal communication.
