[SOLUTIONS] PikeOS: Important Certifications for Safety-critical Applications

We have been awarded a number of important additional industry-specific safety certifications from TÜV Süd and a Common Criteria security certification from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for PikeOS.
According to TÜV Süd, the hypervisor meets the requirements of Safety Integrity Level 2 of the IEC 61508 for safety-relevant electrical and electronic systems. TÜV Süd also certifies compliance with SIL 2 for the railway-specific standard DIN EN 50128. In the automotive industry, it is certified as a SEooC (Safety Element Out Of Context) to ASIL-B (Automotive Safety Integrity Level), as defined in the ISO 26262 standard.
Additionally, a security certification according to Common Criteria EAL 3+ for PikeOS 4.2.3 (S5577) was published by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) during a maintenance procedure. PikeOS thus offers a unique combination of safety and security, serving as a suitable basis of all critical embedded applications.

+ + + New Certification Kits available + + +

For our automotive, railway and IIoT customers the corresponding certification kits are now available (PikeOS on ARM V7/V8 and x86/64Bit up to SIL 2 and ASIL A/B). These certification kits provide the certification evidences and artifacts for all certifiable PikeOS components, enabling you to certify your application on top of PikeOS with less effort.

[EVENT Review] Aerospace Tech Week 2019, Munich

A few weeks ago, we were attending the Avionics Expo 2019 in Munich - with a booth and a lecture. On the booth we showcased a powerful avionic-demonstrator, an ARINC 653 system with "Mixed Criticality Application System" on Curtiss-Wright hardware. Next to this our avionic-specialist held a presentation about “ARINC 653 IMA Core Software for Multicore Certification”.
