SYSGO, a leading European provider of embedded system software, announces US distributor ACT/Technico Inc. and UK reseller Hitex Ltd. as new certified Distribution Partners. These latest partnerships enable SYSGO to expand its international distribution channels into the USA and UK. ObjectAda from AONIX is now available as a runtime Ada runtime environment on top of SYSGOs real-time operating system, PikeOS.

SYSGO today introduced version 1.3 of the PikeOS operating system platform. On the basis of PikeOS, operating system APIs such as Linux, POSIX, OSEK, Ada, (Real-Time) Java and ITRON are available, which can be operated together and protected against each other on one CPU. PikeOS is available for PowerPC, x86, ARM and MIPS architectures and can be easily adapted to other hardware platforms due to its modular design. PikeOS v3.1 is available now.

SYSGO announces the launch of a new ELinOS version for October. ELinOS has been worked over radically and now fully supports the virtualisation platform PikeOS. Thus, it offers a long-term and reliable foundation for the use of Linux in embedded systems and safety-critical applications.

SYSGO and Aonix today announced a cooperation to provide the PERC VM and ObjectAda environments for PikeOS. The implementation makes full use of PikeOS’ multi-OS capabilities, thus allowing real-time Java, Ada and traditional Linux applications to run reliably side by side in different partitions.

SYSGO Real-Time Solutions has been awarded a contract worth USD 2 million by the American group Rockwell Collins Inc. Within the framework of this contract, SYSGO will support the American supplier of electronic systems in the certification of operating system software for safety-critical applications (DO-178B).
