Automotive Grade Linux
Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) is a collaborative open source project that is bringing together automakers, suppliers and technology companies to build a Linux-based, open software platform for automotive applications that can serve as the de facto industry standard. Adopting a shared platform across the industry reduces fragmentation and allows automakers and suppliers to reuse the same code base, leading to rapid innovation and faster time-to-market for new products.
AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is a worldwide development partnership of vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and companies from the Automotive electronics, semiconductor and software industry.

The BDLI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie) is the primary representative for the Aerospace sector in Germany. As the voice of German Aerospace, BDLI engages in dialogue with political institutions, authorities, trade associations and governments.

EtherCAT Technology Group
The ETG is a global organization in which OEM, End Users and Technology Providers join forces to support and promote the further technology development. EtherCAT is the open real-time Ethernet network originally developed by Beckhoff. EtherCAT sets new standards for real-time performance and topology flexibility.
European Organization for Civil Aviation Equipment
EUROCAE, the European Organization for Civil Aviation Equipment, was formed in Lucerne on the 24th April, 1963. EUROCAE has now been operating for more than 40 years as a non-profit organisation whose membership exclusively comprises aviation stakeholders made up of Manufacturers (aircraft, airborne equipment, ATM systems and ground equipment), Services Providers, National and International Aviation Authorities and Users (Airlines, Airports, operators) from Europe and elsewhere. From the outset, EUROCAE has developed performance specifications and other documents exclusively dedicated to the Aviation community. EUROCAE documents are widely referenced as a means of compliance to European Technical Standard Orders (ETSOs) and other regulatory documents.

RTCA, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation that develops consensus-based recommendations regarding communications, navigation, surveillance, and air traffic management (CNS/ATM) system issues. RTCA functions as a Federal Advisory Committee. Its recommendations are used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the basis for policy, program, and regulatory decisions and by the private sector as the basis for development, investment and other business decisions.

The Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge (SOAFEE) initiative is an industry-led Special Interest Group (SIG) defined by automakers, semiconductor suppliers, open source and independent software vendors, and cloud technology leaders. The SOAFEE SIG intends to deliver a cloud-native architecture enhanced for mixed-criticality automotive applications with corresponding open-source reference implementations to enable commercial and non-commercial offerings. The SOAFEE Governing Body is responsible for defining the strategic direction of the SOAFEE project. To achieve the project goals, the Governing Body will work with the Technical Steering Committee to create working groups and define the goals and objectives for these groups. The Governing Body comprises a group of industry experts (Arm, AWS, Bosch, Cariad, Continental, Red Hat, Suse and Woven Planet) to ensure that market intelligence is applied to the output of the SOAFEE project.
