Airbus A350 first Flight: SYSGO is happy to be Part of this great Success

PikeOS, the certified RTOS and hypervisor from SYSGO, is on board the A350 aircraft that successfully achieved its first flight last week.

On June 14, the first Airbus A350 completed its maiden flight at the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and was tested for four hours with two pilots and a tiny flight crew of engineers.

In 2008, Airbus selected SYSGO's PikeOS as DO-178B reference platform for the A350 XWB for the FSA-NG system. The purpose of the FSA-NG system is to provide the pilot with access to applications and information during the flight as well as to provide data for the maintenance team.
