A technical presentation on the formal correctness of the PikeOS microkernel will take place at the embedded world conference 2010. This presentation will focus on the methods and techniques used in the formal verification process of PikeOS.

First presented in 2006 - today operating in the Airbus. With PikeOS, SYSGO has been delivering a virtualization technology since 2006 that is considered the most innovative basic platform for embedded systems today. Airbus recognised the potential of PikeOS early on and SYSGO was the only SME to be approved as a Tier-1 supplier. The virtualization platform is used in the cockpit of the A350.

SYSGO today announced the availability of a PikeOS Platform Support Package (PSP) for the Kontron AM4100 AdvancedMC board. The AdvancedMC (AMC) board uses the latest generation Freescale E600 core MPC8641D dual-core processor. With the new PSP, PikeOS forms the basis for a multi-application system in the aircraft, which will be DO-178B certified.
