SYSGO, a leading supplier of certifiable operating systems, is expanding its safety certification product offering to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61508 Standard and to EN 50128 railway industry standard defined by CENELEC, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization. The most important new feature of PikeOS 3.1 is the world's first multi-core implementation as part of a DO-178 B certified code base.

A technical presentation on the formal correctness of the PikeOS microkernel will take place at the embedded world conference 2010. This presentation will focus on the methods and techniques used in the formal verification process of PikeOS.
