Smart mobility will be experienced by the participants of the "ConCarExpo 2018" from June 27 - 28 in Berlin.

Connected cars are a reality, most modern vehicles on the road nowadays have some form of connectivity to the open world. This raises important challenges on multiple software integration and cybersecurity. To address this challenge, Thales, through its German company SYSGO, and Vector, the Stuttgart-based specialist for automotive embedded electronics founded a joint-venture to address the critical issue of multiple software managing multiple – often safety-critical – functions.

The IT companies Vector and SYSGO have founded a joint venture for the development of embedded software. The aim of the cooperation is to create an integrated software platform consisting of the AUTOSAR adaptive basic software MICROSAR and the real-time operating system PikeOS.

SYSGO appoints OpenSynergy as Value-Added Reseller for its products PikeOS RTOS and Hypervisor, ELinOS Industrial Grade Linux in North Europe. The cooperation started beginning of June 2016 and covers sales, professional services as well as first level support for European customers. Applications enclose mission-critical appliances in the fields of the embedded industries.

At the Berlin railway technology fair InnoTrans, SYSGO and Kontron present a joint platform for safe rail systems. SYSGO’s hypervisor PikeOS is certified to the highest level SIL 4 of railway safety standard EN 50128 and runs on the Kontron VX3035 3U Single Board Computer with Intel Multi-Core i7 processor.
