SYSGO has created a comprehensive Avionics Safety certification kit for the Hypervisor-based real-time operating system PikeOS. This includes an ARINC 653 execution environment which is highly demanded in the Avionics industry. The certification kit enables customers in the Avionics industry to develop systems and applications according to the highest Safety development assurance level A (DAL A) as described in the Avionics Safety standard DO-178C / ED-12C.

The latest version of SYSGO’s hypervisor-based real-time operating system PikeOS is suitable for use in systems and applications with the highest demands on functional safety. SYSGO is now covering another important safety area with its real-time operating system and hypervisor PikeOS. In addition to the existing standards EN 50128, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262, the railway standard EN 50657 (software for railway vehicles) is now supported. SYSGO has been awarded a number of important additional industry-specific safety certifications from TÜV Süd and a Common Criteria security certification from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for its PikeOS real-time operating system.
