With ELinOS, SYSGO offers the first development environment for embedded Linux systems originating from Germany. During Systems 2000, SYSGO will present the new development environment on powerful and cost-effective hardware platforms: JUMPtec DimmPC, AMD SC520, SSV DIL/NetPC, Syslogic CUB/COMPACT-1S, Advantech Series WEB-2143, EPSON CardPCI/GX.

SYSGO announces the first German development environment for embedded Linux systems. With the development environment ELinOS, the system house enters the market segment of development tools for embedded Linux systems and thus particularly addresses newcomers and those changing over to embedded Linux, who want to open up the advantages of embedded Linux.

SYSGO, the systems house specialising in real-time systems, is a co-founder of the Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC). Together with IBM, Motorola, Red Hat and 46 other companies, SYSGO supports the activities of the ELC for the widespread use of the open-source operating system Linux in the market for embedded systems.
